In Times Like This by Adeyinka Ojo

We live in the days when we need to show the evidence of our relationship with Christ to
the world system. Generations come and go but theword of God remains the same to this day.

The word of our Lord Jesus Christ is coming to pass at a rate that should seriously alarm us. The people ofthe world are asking us for proofs of both ourstewardship and our faith. Just as Jesus said, we arethe salt and the light of the world; a city on a hill that cannot be hidden.

Sadly, we have refused to measure up to the standard and the world is becoming unbearable for mankind; simply because we are at ease in Zion.

We are living in perilous times. Men are lovers of themselves; lovers of money, and are boastful, proud, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God. Majority are chasing after shadows, looking for things that naturally should be added to them.

We have misplaced our priority; we have left Jesus at 'Jerusalem', thinking He is still in our company. We have travelled on far looking for Jesus; in the crowd, among friends and relatives, not knowing He's in the secret.

Just before His second appearance, the world has become the den of lions. Men who should be fighting are celebrating, giants are weak and those who should be poor in spirit are rich in unrighteous mammon. The world does not regard us again. The pagans now see us as competitors. Sin has made us cold in this generation.

The world does not oppose us again. We are so feeble that it just ignores us. In the eyes of our sworn foes we simply do not count.

The world could not ignore the first disciples. They were beaten, burnt alive, and stoned to death. Many of them had properties confiscated.

They became scapegoats, whilst they were made a public show in the amphitheaters of the world.

Why is it that the world is on such good terms with us? It is because we have signed an armistice with the devil. We have put our hand to sin, compromising instead of contending.

These days we must enter a revival against worldliness in our lives. It appears that we have being robbed of His power and placed in
an embarrassing position, one in which we cannot manifest the power of God.

Most preachers are not telling us the mind of Christ again; but are building empires for themselves, when their Savior did not have a place to lay his head while on earth.

We are looking for greener pastures where
moth can destroy. One good Baptist once said to Dr. Tozer, “If God withdrew the Holy Spirit tomorrow, my church would function just the same; we wouldn't even know He was gone.”

Brother Leonard Ravenhill once said; “I tell you if Jesus had preached the same message that ministers preach today, He would never have been crucified.”

The wickedness of the wicked is increasing and innocent people are looking for a place of refuge from their wrath. The devil is taking the battle to our very door posts.

While babies are crying, the fathers are
looking on, helpless. Today our hospitals cannot hold all of our people because of the increase of sickness and disease in the land.

Those in the world system are asking; “Where can we find help?”

As government institutions collapse, the political system is failing. Economies of the world are collapsing and the world system as established by our enemy is not helping. The scientists are still looking for solutions and the religions cannot help.

All human ideologies and philosophies have failed. The only solution to every problem and challenge in life is locked up in the power of God, which is present in the Holy Spirit.

It takes a highly consecrated and dedicated life to unlock the world of the supernatural. This is the realm where sin and doubts disappear; an
atmosphere that is ever saturated with the
outpouring of God's presence and love.

Let The Children First Be Filled by Adeyinka Ojo

Jesus said unto her; let the children first be filled…… Mark 7 vs. 27 Jesus is a father indeed to all his children. His major concern is the welfare of his family. Early in the morning he carries us in his arms, in the night he cares for us and wipe away all our secret tears. His word says; children are the heritage of the lord. We are God’s heritage, he owns us. He cares for us. He suffers no man to do them harm and he rebuke the kings for their sake. The loving father gives food and shelter to his children. He will not allow you to be bruised. He’s not happy seeing you in that ugly situation. He’s hurt when you are hurt. He says; for the hurt of the daughter of my children am I hurt. The chastisement of your peace is upon him. He holds you in the hollow of his hands. Your name is boldly written on his palm. He says; I will never leave you nor forsake you. Jesus wants you to be filled. He says; Let the children first be filled. You are not a subject of ridicule. T

John Piper: Christians Must Prepare for the End Times Now

Christians must be prepared for the End Times, John Piper says, pointing to the parable of 10 virgins as evidence for the need to be ready for Jesus Christ's second coming and the urgency to evangelize those who are not yet saved. Piper, who serves as the founder and teacher at DesiringGod.org, says in a sermon posted to his website this week, that as outlined in this parable in Matthew 25:2-4, Christians need to be fully prepared for Christ's return, instead of just pretending to be prepared with a façade of superficial religious belief. The parable reads, in part: "Five of them were foolish, and five were wise. For when the foolish took their lamps, they took no oil with them, but the wise took flasks of oil with their lamps." The parable goes on to say that God tells believers to "Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour" of His arrival, adding that the 10 women were tasked with preparing the way for the Lord, but five w

A Prayer Meeting that Lasted 100 Years

F ACT: The Moravian Community of Herrnhut in Saxony, in 1727, commenced a round-the-clock “prayer watch” that continued nonstop for over a hundred years. FACT:  By 1791, 65 years after commencement of that prayer vigil, the small Moravian community had sent 300 missionaries to the ends of the earth. Could it be that there is some relationship between those two facts? Is fervent intercession a basic component in world evangelization? The answer to both questions is surely an unqualified “yes.” That heroic eighteenth-century evangelization thrust of the Moravians has not received the attention it deserves. But even less heralded than their missionary exploits is that  hundred-year prayer meeting  that sustained the fires of evangelism. During its first five years of existence the Herrnhut settlement showed few signs of spiritual power. By the beginning of 1727 the community of about three hundred people was wracked by dissension and bickering. An unlikely site for revival!
