GOD MOVE WHEN YOU MOVE

GOD MOVE WHEN YOU MOVE When you act upon God’s word, then you will see results. God word is in two faces- the rhema and the logos. Rhema is the reveal word of God to a person-the instant, personal speaking of God to us and Logos is the written word of God-the bible. These are the method God speak to His children! Understanding this and acting upon them accordingly guarantee our flight. God only move in response to our scriptural moves. When we are not making move, it's impossible to move God. God can't reach us until we respond in faith. We can't sit down making no move and expect God to perform magic. It's your move that move God. Faith is not mere confession, but a great profession. Is not what you say but what you do. It always demands a move. Always doing what God says. Abraham was justified by what he did and not what he says. Faith is an action word. Is not just saying what God says but doing what God says. Faith is the proof of wha

There Was A Man, S. G. Elton: There Is A Church Uncertain Of Her True Identity And Mandate By Olugu Olugu Orji mnia

I f you studied in the University of Ife before 1987 and you were an active Christian, you would certainly have been impacted by the ministry of a man named S. G. Elton; especially if you were also part of the Evangelical Christian Union. Twice in each yearly cycle, he would attend the meeting of ECU in the company of his wife and sometimes, their daughter, Ruth. The first event was the inauguration of the new leadership of the Union that usually happened during the Harmattan Semester and coincided with the end of a calendar year. The second, and in my opinion, the more critical meeting took place in the Rain Semester during the valedictory service (send-forth) of the graduating set. In was in those meetings I discovered the true essence of the prophetic and apostolic ministry. Maybe I need to back-track a little to throw light on what a British family was doing in the cradle of Yoruba civilization. Pa Elton – as he was fondly addressed – had arrived Nigeria in 1937 with a clear m

A Prayer Meeting that Lasted 100 Years

F ACT: The Moravian Community of Herrnhut in Saxony, in 1727, commenced a round-the-clock “prayer watch” that continued nonstop for over a hundred years. FACT:  By 1791, 65 years after commencement of that prayer vigil, the small Moravian community had sent 300 missionaries to the ends of the earth. Could it be that there is some relationship between those two facts? Is fervent intercession a basic component in world evangelization? The answer to both questions is surely an unqualified “yes.” That heroic eighteenth-century evangelization thrust of the Moravians has not received the attention it deserves. But even less heralded than their missionary exploits is that  hundred-year prayer meeting  that sustained the fires of evangelism. During its first five years of existence the Herrnhut settlement showed few signs of spiritual power. By the beginning of 1727 the community of about three hundred people was wracked by dissension and bickering. An unlikely site for revival!

Prophetic Warning by Stanley Frodsham

THIS PROPHECY WAS GIVEN at the Elim Bible Institute USA, in 1965 by the late Stanley Frodsham. Brother Frodsham was one of those who received his Baptism in the Holy Ghost at Sunderland in 1908 where the Pentecostal movement in Britain had its beginnings. With Great Judgments With great judgments will I plead with the population of this country. Great darkness is coming upon the countries that have heard my gospel but no longer walk in it. My wrath shall come upon them. The darkness shall be so great, and the anguish so sore that men will cry out for death and shall not find it. There shall be a lingering death, famine, and great catastrophes. My wrath shall be manifested against all ungodliness. It shall come with great intensity. You have known My love but have not known My wrath, My severity. My judgments are literal and not a thing to be lightly passed over. Realize the severity of My judgments and My intense anger against the sin in My household. My judgments shall beg

4 Sexual Sins Every Christian Should Avoid

4 Sexual Sins Every Christian Should Avoid Bert M Farias Excessive sexual sin and nakedness is one of the marks of our Western culture and much of the world today. Everything is sensual. Everything must be sexy. We live in a sex-crazed world, and nakedness jumps out at us from everywhere. It is becoming more and more difficult for men and women to keep themselves in a state of moral purity. Sexual sin and neglecting the laws of purity in the body of Christ is one of the elements that can potentially bring weakness, sickness, and even premature death to many in the Church. It is one forgotten aspect of not discerning the Lord's body (1 Cor. 11:29-31). Those last statements sound so primitive in today's contemporary church. There is a lack of ministry from pastors in this area because of the fear of forthcoming accusations of being unloving, judgmental, legalistic, and ministering guilt and condemnation. Frankly, we've lost our way in this regard. Correction, rebuk

The Cross Before The Throne By D. M. Panton

The Cross Before The Throne    By D. M. Panton     Our Lord Jesus Christ summarized a vital principle of the heavenly kingdom when He said:  "Every one that exalteth himself shall be humbled; and he that  humbleth himself  shall be exalted"  (Luke 14:11). Our Lord was Himself the ultimate fulfillment of that which He taught. He humbled Himself as none other ever did or could, and correspondingly He is exalted above and beyond all.     In Philippians 2:5, the Apostle Paul not only pictures this truth but also enforces its obedience.  " Have  this mind in you,"  he says, for it is within our control and choice and therefore within our responsibility. This humility  "was also in Christ Jesus, who humbled Himself"  (v. 8),   who made Himself void by His own act (Moule). In Christ the principle is put in its most extreme form. As the span of Christ’s descent was the deepest of which the universe is capable, so the consequent enthronement is the limit whi

Reward Of Keeping God’s Word By Martin Luther

Heaven and earth, all the emperors, kings and princes of the world, could not raise a fit dwelling-place for God; yet, in a weak human soul that  keeps His Word,  He willingly resides. Isaiah calls heaven the Lord’s seat, and earth His footstool. He does not call them His dwelling place. When we seek after God, we shall find Him with them that  keep His Word. Christ says: “If a man love Me, he will  keep My words,  and My Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him” (John 14:23). Nothing could be simpler or clearer than these words of the Saviour, and yet He confounds herewith all the wisdom of the worldly wise. He sought to speak not in sublime but in humble language. If I had to teach a child, I would teach him in the same way.
